2008 Gala Ball - A Huge Success

This years ball raised in excess of $50,000.00 so we will shortly be finalising our promised donations to PMH Intensive care and the Children’s Cardiac units. From all accounts guests had a fabulous time at the ball with entertainment and actvities happening all night. Lead by the very able and interesting Masters of Ceremonies David Andrews (Cardiac Surgeon) and Mark Gibson (channel 7 – who stood in at the last minute helping out the hospitalised Simon Reeve), the evening opened with the Live Auction and spirited bidding. Steve Armstrong and the Flirtettes followed, then the fantastic dance music and entertainment from Todd Johnston and Peace Love and all thet Stuff. When guests needed a break from food, wine, dance and entertainment there was always the Bear Bar to check out and the Silent Auction are to shop in. All in all a great night was had by all, and we look forward to sharing another Gala event with you in 2009.
